Plot Spot is built for those minutes. It’s a free place to read stories one chapter at a time, right on your phone.
Why we started
We wanted somewhere to read that felt like a comfortable chair, not a chore. No paywall halfway through. No account to remember. No app taking up space.
So we made a site where a good story is always a tap away, and where picking up where you left off takes a few seconds.
What we publish
We publish original fiction: short stories, longer serials and full novels. They are about grown-up characters with real lives, tricky choices and something worth finding out by the last page.
Some stories wrap up in a handful of chapters. Others run longer and keep going over weeks. Either way, each one begins at Chapter 1 and is free all the way through.
How we work
Every story on Plot Spot is written for us and edited before it goes up. We shape each chapter for reading on a screen, with short paragraphs, a clear place to pause, and a reason to come back.
New chapters are added on a regular schedule. If you’d like to know when they arrive, the newsletter will tell you.
How it stays free
Plot Spot may show ads. They pay for the writing and the running of the site, so reading stays free for everyone.
